Welcome to First Grade!  I am happy to be your teacher!  I have always known I wanted to be a teacher and have focused my life on that goal.

I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University.  After graduating, I moved back home to Indiana and taught Kindergarten for five years.  Over those five years I loved being involved with my school in various activities such as sponsoring Student Council and leading professional development for teachers.  In addition to those activities, I received my Masters in Elementary Education with an  emphasis in Reading from Ball State University.

In my free time I love to run, bake, and travel.  Also have two new cats, Paige and Chilli, that are very spoiled!

After eight years together, my husband David and I were married this summer!  We moved to Illinois and I am excited to start a new year at Bannockburn School.  I love new adventures and am thrilled to embark on one with you during this important year of school!
